Easy swim, shower or exercise - the FreeStyle Libre system is water-resistant in up to 1 metre (3 feet) of water for a maximum of 30 minutes so it can be worn while bathing, showering, swimming or exercising.
For a complete glycemic picture, scan once every 8 hours. The reader can capture data from the sensor when it is within 1 cm to 4 cm of the sensor.

With LibreLinkUp** you can allow up to 20 people to remotely track your glucose data and trends from their smartphones.®, The FreeStyle LibreLink app and the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 14 Day reader have similar but not identical features. Fingersticks are required for treatment decisions when you see Check Blood Glucose symbol, when symptoms do not match system readings, when you suspect readings may be inaccurate, or when you experience symptoms that may be due to high or low blood glucose. When using FreeStyle LibreLink app, access to a blood glucose monitoring system is required as the app does not provide one.
