Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is hiring a CPAP Specialist Biller for our Medical Supplies business in Auburn. This a full-time 40-hour position, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Job Summary

The CPAP Specialist Biller is responsible for verifying insurance coverage, insurance qualification requirements, and patient responsibility in a timely manner. The Biller will learn the requirements of the different insurance companies for each of the supplies, equipment, and services supplied by Bedard.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum one year of billing experience

· Ability to read and understand medical terminology

· Ability to learn and understand the insurance approval and/or qualification process

· Ability to learn and understand billing protocol, reimbursement requirements, and timely filing

· Ability to maintain confidential information

· Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and great attention to detail

· Pleasant professional telephone manner

· Ability to develop and maintain professional, service-oriented working relationships with others

· Problem solving skills

· Ability and desire to work as a contributing team member

Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) Supervisor for our Medical Supplies business in Auburn. This a full-time 40-hour position with varying hours Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., and weekend a rotation on Saturday 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. When scheduled to work a weekend, time off will be given during the week.

Job Summary

The CSR Supervisor directly supervises the CSRs assigned to the department. The Supervisor is accountable for managing the day-to-day activities of the CSR Staff, designing and maintaining workflow, creating employee schedules, providing staff development and education, and evaluating the level of CSR performance. The CSR Supervisor, under the direct supervision of the DME Manager, will assist in various activities of the medical supply department.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Firm understanding of insurance terms, processes, and guidelines

· Intermediate PC knowledge, and ability to quickly learn new systems

· Proficient general office skills (typing, computer, fax, scanner, multiple phone line)

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, and command of English language

· Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

· Superior customer service skills, ability to manage escalated situations and resolve challenging customer issues

· Ability to work effectively, on multiple tasks, in a fast-paced, diverse environment

· Ability to monitor staff and delegate responsibilities appropriately

· Must be able to develop and maintain professional, service-oriented working relationships with customers, facility staff, and co-workers

· Minimum 5 years of customer service experience preferred

· Minimum 5 years of experience working with DME equipment preferred

· Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred

Physical Requirements

· Requires sitting, standing and/or walking for sustained periods of time, raising objects from a lower to a higher position and/or moving objects horizontally

· Frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lbs. below waist level and at or above shoulder level

· Repetitive walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching

Job Details

Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is hiring a DME Biller (with denials and Patient A/R experience). This is a full-time position in Auburn, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Summary

The DME Biller is responsible for processing paperwork necessary for Bedard to bill and collect fees for equipment and services provided. Ensures claims are submitted properly with accurate HCPC, ICD-10, modifiers, and claims notes. Stays current with coverage criteria changes, follows up on collections, and responds to queries from customers. Reviews, investigates, and corrects claims errors.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 3-5 years medical billing experience

· Working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing regulations

· Working knowledge of medical billing, medical claims processing, and accounts receivable collections

· Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial carrier billing

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical documentation and insurance guidelines and requirements

· Ability to reduce days sales outstanding, process refunds and returns, and reconcile billing rejections

· Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and great attention to detail

· Time management skills, oral and written communication skills, and fluent in English

· Proficient in Word, Excel, Windows, and DME billing software
