Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies in Auburn is hiring a Warehouse Technician. This is a full-time position with varying hours Monday thru Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and rotating Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. When scheduled to work a Saturday, time off will be given during the week.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Technician is primarily responsible for assisting with ordering, shipping, and receiving. These duties will include maintaining the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashion, receiving, processing, and stocking incoming shipments, and organizing warehouse inventory so products can be easily located.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current State of Maine Driver's License with good driving record
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Ability to use GPS navigation system and smartphone
  • Basic math skills and general PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet
  • Good customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills (listening, writing, and speaking)
  • Command of written and verbal English language
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret invoices correctly
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize essential tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to readily adapt to changes in schedule specifications, and work priorities as the business and customer needs demand
  • Ability to function independently in a pressure-filled environment while working as a member of a team
  • Must be detailed oriented and work well in fast-paced environment

  • Neat personal appearance with pleasing manner and interpersonal skills
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred

Physical Requirements

· Ability to enter and exit cab of vehicle

· Exposure to various weather conditions

· Frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs. below waist level and at or above shoulder level

· Repetitive walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching

· Standing and/or walking for sustained periods of time, raising objects from a lower to a higher position and/or moving objects horizontally
