Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Medical Supplies location in Auburn. This is a full-time position Monday thru Friday with varying hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and rotating Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. When scheduled to work a Saturday, time off will be given during the week.

Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative:

· Learns the products and services offered by Bedard, the computer systems used, and the guidelines and regulations required by federal, state, and accrediting organizations.

· Handles initial customer contact in person, over the telephone, or via the web. The initial customer contact may be with the client, a caregiver, a referral source, or a commercial account.

· Receives, qualifies, and processes all customer medical equipment and supplies orders in a timely, efficient, accurate, and courteous manner.

· Maintains and creates patient files.

· Investigates and responds to customer inquiries regarding shipments, products, deliveries, and complaints.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· General office skills (computer, typing, fax, filing, and multiple phone line)

· Ability to work well in high-volume, fast-paced environment

· Ability to adapt to changes in environment and/or workflow

· Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and great attention to detail

· Ability to make independent decisions

· Ability to develop and maintain professional, service-oriented working relationships with customers, facility staff, and co-workers

· Strong communication skills (writing, speaking, and listening), and good command of written and verbal English

· Neat personal appearance with pleasing manner

· Clerical or customer service experience preferred

· Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance billing, bookkeeping, or medical office experience preferred

Physical Requirements

· Sitting, standing, and/or walking for sustained periods of time, raising objects from a lower to a higher position and/or moving objects horizontally

· Frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lbs. below waist level and at or above shoulder level

· Repetitive walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching

The Director will create, modify, and execute in-store and overall company business strategies to drive revenue and achieve individual, store, and company goals. Job Summary

The Director of Medical Supplies will:

  • Be an ambassador for Bedard and its mission
  • Oversee management for each Bedard Medical Supplies location
  • Be responsible for the financial success and goals of the division
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve efficiencies and customer experience
  • Be responsible for patient, customer, and employee satisfaction
  • Conduct group and individual meetings with managers on a regular basis
  • Work with other Directors and Executives to improve communication and collaboration between divisions
  • Interview, hire, and train direct reports
  • Complete performance evaluations and other requirements established by HR
  • Manage employee issues and resolve grievances in conjunction with HR
  • Establish KPIs for staff
  • Be responsible and accountable to ensure all stores are managed within federal and state regulatory/accrediting agency standards and/or guidelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s preferred
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Analytical ability to implement innovative ideas to improve efficiencies
  • A desire to innovate and improve the healthcare industry
  • The need to better the lives of those in our communities
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to coach staff
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and delegate
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and supplies equipment preferred
  • General business and finance knowledge preferred

Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is hiring a Medical Biller in Auburn. This a full-time position, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Summary

The Medical Biller is responsible for verifying insurance coverage, insurance qualification requirements, and patient responsibility in a timely manner. The Biller will learn the requirements of the different insurance companies for each of the supplies, equipment, and services supplied by Bedard.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum one year medical billing experience

· Ability to read and understand medical terminology

· Ability to learn and understand the insurance approval and/or qualification process

· Ability to learn and understand billing protocol, reimbursement requirements, and timely filing

· Ability to maintain confidential information

· Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and great attention to detail

· Pleasant professional telephone manner

· Ability to develop and maintain professional, service-oriented working relationships with others
