Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is hiring a Diabetic Team Manager in Auburn. This is a full-time position Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Summary

The Diabetic Team Manager has total department accountability and is responsible for the day-to-day and long-term operations, and financial success of the Bedard Medical business.  The Manager is accountable for all functional areas of the Diabetic Team department, including driving sales, overall financial performance, and execution of company initiatives, staffing, inventory control, and compliance with all required policies, procedures, and standards.  Essential job functions:

  • Assist with a quality improvement program to meet company and accreditation standards, including monthly education in-services for new products, as well as continuing education on existing products and procedures for yourself and your teams
  • Build a customer experience that anticipates unmet needs, benefits from optimized department operations, differentiates merchandising and product selection, and extends diabetic services into the home
  • Contribute to a team environment through effective collaboration and communication, and share information, responsibilities, and decision making with others in pursuit of a common purpose
  • Demonstrate a high-level of business acumen. Create, modify, and execute department and overall company business strategies to drive revenue and achieve individual, department, and company goals
  • Hold all team members accountable to drive results by being available, removing barriers and obstacles, facilitating change, and providing coaching/feedback related to performance
  • Lead the daily management of the diabetic department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of the team
  • Maintain a safe, secure, positive, and productive environment while upholding company’s culture and values
  • Portray a positive professional appearance and serve as a role model for all personnel through enthusiastic performance of all duties and doing whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Seek out and test new products and services that may serve the needs of customers in Diabetic equipment and implement successful product tests
  • Work with HR to ensure that recruitment is timely, staff is of the highest caliber, and a functional training program is in place

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Business Administration/Management, or High School Diploma or equivalent and equivalent business administration/management knowledge based on experience
  • State of Maine Pharmacy Technician Registration (can be done after hire)
  • General office skills (computer, typing, fax, filing, and multiple phone lines)
  • Proficient in or ability to learn Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), DocuTrack, DocuSign, and QS1
  • Ability to retrieve, communicate, and present information both verbally and in writing, and with good command of English
  • Extensive knowledge of Diabetic/Pharmaceutical Industry and Business
  • Prior supervisory and/or management experience
  • Ability to assess job competency and manage capacity of staff
  • Ability to delegate and drive results through accountability
  • Ability to foster professional working relationships, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to establish and manage priorities, and demonstrate good decision-making skills to run a profitable company
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, articles, publications, technical procedures, and/or government regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks in a high volume, fast-paced, diverse environment
  • Ability to adapt to changes in environment and/or workflow
  • Superior customer service skills, ability to manage escalated situations and resolve challenging customer issues

Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is hiring an Order Management Specialist in Auburn. This is a full-time position Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Summary

The Order Management Specialist will monitor all drop ship and warehouse shipments to proactively identity lost or delayed packages.  This role will also be responsible for processing all returned delivery tickets and verifying proof of delivery for shipments or drop ships.  Duties include:

  • Monitor the timely flow of customer deliveries, pickup, shipments, and RMAs
  • Inform customers by phone or email of order information changes such as shipping dates and any anticipated delays
  • Address problems with order flow or shipping delays, such as damaged, delayed, or lost goods, as well as day-to-day concerns such as carrier and client deadlines
  • Ensure that internal and external customers are highly regarded and receive exceptional service throughout the flow of order processing
  • Review and ensure delivery confirmations have been received for all pickups, shipments, and deliveries
  • Provide order status and resolve order inquiries
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive the customer experience forward
  • Process and follow up on logistics related customer complaints and claims, and processing of claims in relation to carriers

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • General office skills (computer, typing, fax, filing, and multiple phone lines)
  • Proficient in or ability to learn Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), DocuTrack, DocuSign, and QS1
  • Strong communication skills (writing, speaking, and listening), and good command of written and oral English
  • Ability to work well in high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to changes in environment and/or workflow
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and great attention to detail
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional, service-oriented working relationships with customers, facility staff, and co-workers
  • Previous experience with shipping or logistics preferred
